Prepare Coffee Mixture

Brew Coffee
Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and let it cool to room temperature.

Mix with Liqueur
Once cooled, add 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur to the coffee and stir well.
Make Mascarpone Mixture

Whisk Egg Yolks
In a mixing bowl, whisk together 3 egg yolks and 0.5 cups of granulated sugar until pale and fluffy.

Add Mascarpone
Gently fold in 500g of mascarpone cheese into the egg mixture until smooth.

Whip Heavy Cream
In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Combine Mixtures
Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture, ensuring not to deflate the cream.

Add Vanilla
Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract into the combined mixture.
Assemble Tiramisu

Soak Ladyfingers
Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture for about 2 seconds, making sure they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, lay half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
Chill and Serve

Chill Tiramisu
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Before serving, dust the top with 0.25 cups of cocoa powder and sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings.
