Instructions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, mix the sirloin steak with adobo sauce, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Rojo Rice

Cook rojo rice according to package instructions. Set aside once cooked.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for 6-8 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  4. 4

    Make the Avocado Crema

In a blender, combine avocado, sour cream, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burrito

On a large flour tortilla, layer the sliced steak, rojo rice, pinto beans, queso Chihuahua, and a drizzle of avocado crema. Add salsa or hot sauce to taste.

  6. 6

    Wrap and Serve

Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up from the bottom. Serve the burrito warm with extra salsa or hot sauce on the side.
