Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Dough
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, ideally about 1/4 inch thick.
- 2
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to the highest temperature (usually around 475°F to 500°F or 245°C to 260°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
- 3
Assemble the Pizza
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Tear the buffalo mozzarella into chunks and distribute them over the sauce. Add salt to taste.
- 4
Bake the Pizza
Transfer the pizza to the oven (onto the pizza stone or a baking sheet) and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- 5
Add Basil and Olive Oil
Once the pizza is out of the oven, scatter fresh basil leaves on top and drizzle with olive oil.
- 6
Slice and Serve
Let the pizza cool for a minute, then slice and serve immediately.
