Directions
- 1
Prepare the Crab Mixture
In a large bowl, gently combine the jumbo lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- 2
Season the Mixture
Add salt and black pepper to taste. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.
- 3
Shape the Crab Cakes
Using your hands, form the mixture into patties, about 3-4 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 4
Coat the Crab Cakes
In a shallow dish, spread the panko breadcrumbs. Carefully coat each crab cake in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- 5
Cook the Crab Cakes
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Serve
Remove the crab cakes from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Serve warm with lemon wedges and extra mayonnaise, if desired.
