Method

Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

Rub the pork ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Make sure to cover all sides.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  4. 4

    Add Barbecue Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven, discard the top foil, and brush the barbecue sauce generously over the ribs.

  5. 5

    Finish Cooking

Return the ribs to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 30 minutes. This allows the sauce to caramelize.

Mac & Cheese

  1. 6

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 7

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden.

  3. 8

    Add Milk

Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring continuously to prevent lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens.

  4. 9

    Add Cheese

Remove the pot from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.

  5. 10

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until well combined.

  6. 11

    Prepare for Baking

Transfer the mac and cheese to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for a crunchy texture.

  7. 12

    Bake

Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
