Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Tater Tots
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen tater tots on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- 2
Prepare the Nashville Hot Chicken
If you don't have pre-made Nashville hot chicken, you can make it by frying chicken pieces in hot oil and then tossing them with a mixture of cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and other spices. Let the chicken cool slightly before shredding it.
- 3
Make the Creamy Coleslaw
In a bowl, combine 2 cups of shredded green cabbage, 1 cup of shredded carrots, 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well and set aside.
- 4
Prepare the Pico de Gallo
In a medium bowl, combine 1 diced tomato, 1/4 diced onion, 1 chopped jalapeño (optional), and 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. Squeeze the juice of 1 lime over the mixture and add salt to taste. Stir to combine.
Assembly
- 5
Assemble the Wrap
Lay one flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Start by adding 1/2 cup of macaroni and cheese in the center, followed by 1 cup of Nashville hot chicken, 1/4 cup of pickles, and 1/4 cup of pico de gallo.
- 6
Add Tater Tots and Coleslaw
Add 1 cup of crispy tater tots on top of the fillings, and finish by adding 1/2 cup of creamy coleslaw.
- 7
Wrap it Up
Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top to enclose all the fillings. Repeat with the second tortilla.
