Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs for better flavor absorption and tenderness.

Make the Dry Rub
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and dried thyme. Mix until well combined.

Apply the Dry Rub
Rub the dry rub mixture generously over both sides of the ribs. Let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.

Bake the Ribs
Wrap the seasoned ribs in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

Prepare the BBQ Sauce
While the ribs are baking, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in a saucepan. Mix well and simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes until thickened.

Finish Cooking
Return the glazed ribs to the oven for an additional 15-20 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize.

Serve
Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes. Cut them into portions and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
