Method

Meats Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meats

Select your choice of meats: brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. Ensure they are thawed if previously frozen.

  2. 2

    Make the Marinade

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly.

  3. 3

    Rub and Marinate

Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. Drizzle with apple cider vinegar and olive oil. Cover and let marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Cooking the Meats

  1. 4

    Cook the Brisket

Preheat the smoker to 225°F (107°C). Smoke the brisket for about 6-8 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C). Wrap it in foil and let it rest for 30 minutes before slicing.

  2. 5

    Cook the Pulled Pork

Smoke the pulled pork for approximately 8-10 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C). Wrap in foil and let rest for at least 30 minutes before shredding.

  3. 6

    Cook the Sausage

Smoke the sausage for about 2-3 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). Remove from the smoker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Sides Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots. Toss with your preferred coleslaw dressing, mixing well to coat. Set aside in the refrigerator to chill.

  2. 8

    Heat the Baked Beans

In a saucepan, heat the baked beans over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally. Serve hot.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plating the BBQ Platter

On a large platter, arrange slices of brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. Serve alongside a generous portion of coleslaw and baked beans. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
