Salad Preparation

Prepare the Vegetables
Rinse and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Shred the red cabbage finely. Peel and slice the cucumber into thin rounds. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and slice it into wedges. Chop the fresh herbs.

Assemble the Salad
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine, cooked quinoa, shredded red cabbage, sliced cucumber, avocado wedges, and chopped herbs. Gently toss to mix all ingredients evenly.

Add Sesame Seeds
Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the salad and give it another gentle toss to distribute.

Mix the Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, grated ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey or maple syrup, and minced garlic until well combined. Season with black pepper to taste.

Pour the dressing over the assembled salad and toss gently to ensure all ingredients are coated with the dressing.
