Method

Main Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meat

Choose either brisket or pulled pork as your meat option. If using brisket, season it with your favorite rub and smoke or slow-cook until tender. For pulled pork, cook until it can easily be shredded.

  2. 2

    Toast the Brioche Buns

Slice the brioche buns in half and toast them lightly on a skillet or grill until golden brown.

Sides Preparation

  1. 3

    Make Coleslaw

Combine shredded cabbage, carrots, and coleslaw dressing in a bowl. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

  2. 4

    Prepare Baked Beans

Heat baked beans in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Brisket Burnt Ends Preparation

  1. 5

    Cube the Brisket

Take the cooked brisket and cut it into 1-inch cubes.

  2. 6

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 7

    Coat the Cubes

Toss the brisket cubes in the BBQ mixture until evenly coated.

  4. 8

    Bake

Spread the coated cubes on a baking sheet and bake at 300°F (150°C) for 1 hour, stirring halfway through.

Biscuits Preparation

  1. 9

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  2. 10

    Cut in Butter

Add cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients and mix with a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  3. 11

    Add Milk

Stir in the milk until just combined. Do not overmix.

  4. 12

    Shape and Bake

Turn the dough onto a floured surface, pat down to about 1-inch thickness, and cut into rounds. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden.

Cornbread Preparation

  1. 13

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  2. 14

    Add Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, and eggs. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

  3. 15

    Bake

Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
