Method

Prepare the Ingredients

  1. 1

    Wash and Chop Vegetables

Rinse the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water, then chop it into bite-sized pieces. Peel and dice the cucumber into small cubes. Core and chop the tomatoes into wedges. Peel and slice the red onion thinly.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from the skillet and let drain on paper towels. Once cool, crumble the bacon into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Eggs

Preheat your smoker to 250°F (121°C). Once ready, place the eggs in the smoker and smoke for about 30 minutes. After smoking, place the eggs in an ice bath for 10 minutes to cool. Once cooled, peel and chop the eggs.

Assemble the Salad

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped romaine, diced cucumber, chopped tomatoes, sliced red onion, crumbled bacon, and chopped smoked eggs.

  2. 5

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the blue cheese crumbles evenly over the top of the salad.

  3. 6

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle your choice of dressing over the salad. Toss gently to combine all ingredients until well coated.

Serve

  1. 7

    Plate and Enjoy

Serve the Cobb salad immediately on individual plates or in a large serving bowl. Enjoy fresh!
