Steak Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Steak
Season the cubed beef steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Dredge the Steak
In a shallow dish, combine the all-purpose flour with salt and pepper. Dredge each piece of steak in the flour mixture, ensuring it is coated well.
- 3
Fry the Steak
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the coated steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Sausage Gravy Preparation
- 4
Cook the Sausage
In a separate pan, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked.
- 5
Make the Gravy
Sprinkle the 0.25 cup of flour over the cooked sausage and stir well to combine. Gradually add in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Season with salt and black pepper.
Eggs and Toast Preparation
- 6
Cook the Eggs
In a non-stick pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the pan and cook to your desired preference (sunny-side up, over-easy, etc.).
