Method
Brisket
- 1
Prepare the Brisket
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Season the brisket generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika on all sides.
- 2
Sear the Brisket
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the brisket on both sides until browned (about 4-5 minutes per side). Transfer to a roasting pan.
- 3
Add Liquid Ingredients
In the same skillet, deglaze the pan with beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke. Pour this mixture over the brisket in the roasting pan.
- 4
Cover and Cook
Cover the roasting pan tightly with aluminum foil and place it in the oven. Cook for 4-5 hours, or until the brisket is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- 5
Rest the Brisket
Remove the brisket from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes before slicing.
Creamy Coleslaw
