Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well. Add the chicken breasts and wings into the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Prepare for Frying

In a large, deep frying pan, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat. While the oil is heating, place the flour in a shallow dish.

  2. 3

    Coat the Chicken

Remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator. Take each piece (both breasts and wings) and dredge them in the flour, ensuring they are evenly coated. Shake off any excess flour.

  3. 4

    Fry the Chicken

Once the oil is hot (test by dropping in a small piece of flour; it should sizzle), carefully place the coated chicken pieces in the oil. Fry in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Cook the chicken breasts for about 7-8 minutes on each side, and the wings for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. 5

    Drain and Serve

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oil and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
