Method

Preparation of Fries

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and cut the russet potatoes into thin fries.

  3. 3

    Season the Fries

In a bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and chopped fresh rosemary.

  4. 4

    Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned fries on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, mix the American Wagyu beef with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Form into two burger patties.

  2. 6

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.

  3. 7

    Blacken the Patties

In the same skillet, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, adding the smoked cheddar on top in the last minute to melt.

  4. 8

    Assemble the Burger

Place the cooked burger patties on the buns, add crispy bacon, sliced jalapenos, and drizzle hot honey on top. Close the burger with the other half of the bun.
