Preparation
- 1
Cook the Udon Noodles
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the udon noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare Shrimp
In a medium bowl, season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Set aside.
- 3
Mince Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves and set aside.
- 4
Slice Green Onions
Slice the green onions, separating the green tops from the white parts.
Cooking
- 5
Make Garlic Butter
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- 6
Cook Shrimp
Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the shrimp is pink and opaque, stirring occasionally.
- 7
Add Corn
Stir in the corn and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- 8
Combine Everything
Add the cooked udon noodles to the skillet along with the soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated and heated through.
- 9
Garnish
Remove from heat and garnish with the sliced green onion tops. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
