Cooking Rice

Prepare the Rice
Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine the rice, water, and salt in a medium saucepan.

Cook the Rice
Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-18 minutes, or until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.

Prepare Corn
If using frozen corn, thaw it in hot water or microwave. If using canned corn, drain and rinse.
Assemble the Dish

Combine All Components
In a large serving bowl, fluff the cooked rice with a fork. Add the kimchi mixture and corn, mixing gently to combine.

Add Toppings
Pour the garlic butter over the rice mixture and stir gently. Top with chopped green onions.

Serve the hot kimchi pepper rice immediately, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
