Method
Preparing the Steak
- 1
Season the Steak
Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly on both sides of the Angus ribeye steaks. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
- 2
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers. Make sure the pan is hot before adding the steak.
- 3
Cook the Steak
Place the seasoned ribeye steaks in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy (130°F for medium-rare).
- 4
Rest the Steak
Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Preparing the Vegetables
- 5
- 6
Prepare the Corn and Bean Sprouts
In the same pot, add corn and bean sprouts. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Drain and mix with the cooked carrots and green beans.
Making Garlic Butter
- 7
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- 8
Add Parsley
Stir in the fresh parsley and remove from heat. Set aside to drizzle over the steak.
