Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Papaya

Using a vegetable peeler, peel the green papaya. Cut it in half and remove the seeds. Shred the papaya using a grater or a food processor and place the shredded papaya into a clay bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Green Beans

Trim the ends of the green beans and cut them into 1-inch pieces. Add them to the bowl with the shredded papaya.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Tomatoes

Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them to the bowl with the papaya and green beans.

Mixing

  1. 4

    Make the Dressing

In a separate small bowl, combine lime juice, fish sauce, palm sugar, and Thai chili peppers. Mash the ingredients together with a pestle or a fork until the sugar dissolves and the chili is well distributed.

  2. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Pour the dressing over the papaya salad mixture in the clay bowl. Use a spoon to gently mix everything together, ensuring the papaya, beans, and tomatoes are well coated with the dressing.

Serving

  1. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Top the salad with roasted peanuts and fresh cilantro. Serve immediately as a refreshing side dish or a light meal.
