Shred the Green Papaya
Using a grater or a food processor, shred 2 cups of green papaya into thin strips and place them in a large salad bowl.

Prepare the Tomato
Chop 1 cup of ripe tomato into small cubes and add to the salad bowl with the shredded papaya.
Making the Dressing

Mix the Dressing Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of lime juice, 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of minced chili pepper. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Assembling the Salad

Pour the dressing over the shredded green papaya and chopped tomato in the salad bowl. Toss well to ensure everything is evenly coated.

Chop 1 cup of fresh cilantro and sprinkle it over the salad. Add 1 cup of crushed peanuts for crunch and flavor. Toss lightly to combine.
