Wild Boar Sauce

Method

Cooking the Sauce

  1. 1

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened and fragrant, about 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Wild Boar

Add the ground wild boar meat to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a spoon, about 7-10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Flavorings

Stir in the tomato paste, red wine, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
