Prepare the Tortilla Chips
Cut the corn tortillas into wedges. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the tortilla wedges in batches until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt.

Assemble the Nachos
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). On a large baking sheet, layer the fried tortilla chips, black beans, carne asada, and shredded cheese evenly across the top.

Melt the Cheese
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Add Toppings
Remove from the oven and top with sliced jalapeños, sour cream, guacamole, and fresh cilantro.
