Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tortilla Chips

Cut the corn tortillas into wedges. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the tortilla wedges in batches until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Nachos

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). On a large baking sheet, layer the fried tortilla chips, black beans, carne asada, and shredded cheese evenly across the top.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  4. 4

    Add Toppings

Remove from the oven and top with sliced jalapeños, sour cream, guacamole, and fresh cilantro.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the nachos hot and enjoy!
