Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). This ensures that the mushrooms roast evenly.

  2. 2

    Clean the Mushrooms

Wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp cloth or paper towel to remove any dirt. Avoid rinsing them under water as they can absorb moisture.

  3. 3

    Prepare Garlic

Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.

  4. 4

    Chop Herbs

Finely chop the fresh thyme and rosemary to release their flavors.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cleaned mushrooms, chopped garlic, thyme, rosemary, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the mushrooms are well coated.

  2. 6

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Spread the coated mushrooms evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are in a single layer to ensure even roasting.

  3. 7

    Roast the Mushrooms

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the mushrooms for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and tender. Stir halfway through for even cooking.

  4. 8

    Serve

Once roasted, remove the mushrooms from the oven. Serve them hot as a side dish or as a topping for salads, pasta, or bruschetta.
