Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the peppered bacon until crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Burger Patty

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form into a patty and cook in the same skillet over medium heat until desired doneness (about 4-5 minutes per side).

  3. 3

Melt the Cheese on the Patty

During the last minute of cooking the burger, pour the nacho cheese sauce over the patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Make the Grilled Cheese Buns

In another skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Place two slices of bread in the skillet and top each with a slice of cheddar cheese. Place the remaining bread slices on top to form sandwiches, and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Flip and repeat on the other side until the cheese is melted.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Place the burger patty with melted nacho cheese on one grilled cheese sandwich, top with crispy bacon, and then place the second grilled cheese sandwich on top to complete the burger.

  6. 6

    Serve

Slice the burger in half and serve with your choice of sides.
