Preparing the Tea

In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.

After steeping, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a heatproof container, discarding the leaves.

While the tea is still warm, stir in 2 tablespoons of sugar until fully dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of condensed milk and 1 tablespoon of evaporated milk. Mix well until combined.
