Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Rinse 1 pound of Brussels sprouts under cold water to remove any dirt. Trim the ends and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut each Brussels sprout in half lengthwise.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, add 6 slices of bacon. Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Once cooled, chop the bacon into small pieces.
Cooking
- 3
Sauté the Brussels Sprouts
In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Heat over medium-high heat. Add the halved Brussels sprouts, season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Sauté for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and tender.
- 4
Combine Ingredients
Once the Brussels sprouts are cooked, reduce the heat to low. Add the chopped bacon back into the skillet along with 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar. Stir well to combine, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Garnish and Serve
Transfer the Bacon Brussels Sprouts to a serving dish. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Enjoy your dish warm!
