Prepare the Beef Patty
In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into a 6 oz patty.

Grill the Patty
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Flame grill the beef patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

Melt the Cheese
Add a slice of Tillamook cheddar cheese on top of the patty during the last minute of grilling to let it melt.

Assemble the Burger
Place the grilled patty on the bottom half of the burger bun. Top with any additional toppings you desire (lettuce, tomato, etc.) and cover with the top half of the bun.
