1. Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the marionberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and salt. Gently toss until the berries are evenly coated. Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes.

2. Make the Pie Crust

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out your prepared pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish. Trim any excess dough hanging over the edges.

3. Assemble the Pie

Pour the marionberry filling into the pie crust. Dot the top with small pieces of butter.

4. Bake the Pie

Cover the pie with a second crust or a lattice top if you prefer. Seal the edges and cut slits in the top crust if using. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

5. Cool and Serve

Remove from the oven and let the pie cool for at least 2 hours before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
