Method

Pie Preparation

1

Prepare the Pie Crust

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). If using a homemade crust, roll it out and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. If using store-bought, simply place it in the dish. Prick the bottom with a fork to prevent bubbling.

2

Mix the Cheese Filling

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Mix until fully combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

3

Combine with Marionberries

Gently fold the marionberries into the cream cheese mixture until evenly distributed.

4

Bake the Pie

Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.

5

Cool and Serve

Allow the pie to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Dust with powdered sugar before slicing and serving.
