Omelettes & Scrambles
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Hash Browns
In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat, add hash browns, and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- 2
- 3
Cook the Omelette
In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook until the edges start to set, gently pushing the cooked edges toward the center while tilting the pan to allow uncooked eggs to flow to the edges.
- 4
Finish Cooking
When the omelette is mostly set but still slightly runny on top, you can add any desired fillings (cheese, vegetables, etc.) and fold the omelette in half. Cook for another minute until the inside is cooked through.
- 5
Serve
Serve the omelette hot alongside the crispy hash browns and your choice of buttermilk pancakes, toast, or an English muffin.
