Prepare the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Form the Patties
Divide the ground beef into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season with salt and pepper.

Cook the Patties
In the same skillet, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.

Add Cheese
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Tillamook cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each burger bun, add a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato. Place the burger patty with melted cheese on top, followed by three slices of bacon. Add the top half of the bun.

Serve
Serve the burgers warm with your choice of sides.
