Prepare the Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant.
Cook the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start turning pink.
Add Wine and Tomatoes
Pour in the white wine and diced tomatoes, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Finish with Lemon and Butter
Stir in the lemon juice and butter, cooking for an additional 2 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve
Serve the spicy shrimp diavolo hot, alongside the grilled crostini and topped with fried leeks for garnish.
