Making the Dumpling Dough

1. Prepare the dough

In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and salt together. Gradually add water while stirring with a fork until a dough begins to form. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

After the dough has rested, divide it into small pieces (about 1 inch each). Roll each piece into a circle about 3 inches in diameter. Place a small spoonful of the pork filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal. Repeat until all dough and filling are used.
