Method

Preparing the Salad

  1. 1

    Prepare Greens

Wash and dry the mixed organic greens, then place them in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add Tomatoes

Slice the fresh tomatoes into wedges or halves, depending on size, and add them to the bowl with the greens.

  3. 3

    Add Basil

Tear the basil leaves into smaller pieces and add them to the salad.

  4. 4

    Add Red Onion

Thinly slice the red onion and sprinkle it over the salad.

  5. 5

    Add Burrata

Gently tear the burrata cheese into smaller pieces and place them on top of the salad.

  6. 6

    Finish with Balsamic Glaze

Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the salad just before serving.

Making the Crostini

  1. 7

    Preheat Oven

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 8

    Slice Baguette

Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

  3. 9

    Prepare Garlic Oil

In a small bowl, mix olive oil with minced garlic (mince the garlic cloves).

  4. 10

    Oil & Salt Baguette

Brush the garlic oil mixture on both sides of each baguette slice, then sprinkle a pinch of salt on top.

  5. 11

    Bake Crostini

Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crisp.

  6. 12

    Cool Crostini

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving with the salad.
