Preparation
Prepare the Shrimp
Rinse the large shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
Prepare the Vegetables
Trim the green beans and chop the napa cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
Make the Thai Sauce
Mix the Sauce Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, fish sauce, Sriracha sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.
Cooking
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Sauté the Vegetables
Add the green beans to the skillet and sauté for about 3 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Add the napa cabbage and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
Cook the Shrimp
Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the shrimp. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Combine with Sauce
Pour the prepared Thai sauce over the shrimp and vegetables. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Serving
Plate the Dish
Serve the spicy Thai shrimp hot, garnished with extra lime wedges or cilantro if desired.
