Main Ingredients

For the Grilled Garlic Croutons

Method

Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and dice the fresh tomatoes. Thinly slice the red onion and set aside. Rinse the basil leaves and pat them dry.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Balsamic Glaze

If using store-bought balsamic glaze, ensure it’s ready. If making homemade, simmer balsamic vinegar until thickened.

Making the Croutons

  1. 3

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the baguette or Italian bread into 1-inch thick slices.

  2. 4

    Prepare Garlic Oil

Mince the garlic cloves and mix them with olive oil in a small bowl.

  3. 5

    Grill the Croutons

Brush each slice of bread with the garlic oil mixture on both sides. Grill on medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Assembling the Dish

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

On a serving plate, arrange the diced tomatoes and sliced red onion. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place it on top.

  2. 7

    Add Garnish

Sprinkle fresh basil leaves over the top and drizzle with balsamic glaze.

  3. 8

    Serve with Croutons

Serve the tomato burrata alongside the grilled garlic croutons for dipping and enjoyment.
