Method

Preparing the Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Mix well to ensure that the wings are evenly coated with the seasoning.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the wings become crispy.

  3. 3

    Arrange the Wings

Spread the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Ensure there is space between the wings for even cooking.

Making the Thai Sauce

  1. 4

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the soy sauce, honey, Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and lime juice. Stir well to combine.

  2. 5

    Simmer the Sauce

Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cooking and Tossing

  1. 6

    Bake the Wings

Place the baking sheet with the wings in the preheated oven. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

  2. 7

    Toss in Sauce

Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the prepared Thai sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.

Serving

  1. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Transfer the wings to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side.
