Salad Greens

Balsamic Vinaigrette

Method

Preparing the Salad

  1. 1

    Wash and Prepare the Greens

Rinse the mixed salad greens under cold water. Spin dry using a salad spinner or pat dry with paper towels. Place them in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Slice the Vegetables

Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them to the salad bowl. Peel the cucumber, slice it in half lengthwise, and then cut it into half-moons. Add to the bowl. Thinly slice the red onion and add it to the salad bowl as well.

Making the Balsamic Vinaigrette

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, and maple syrup until well combined.

  2. 4

    Season the Dressing

Add salt and black pepper to the vinaigrette, adjusting the quantity of black pepper to your taste. Whisk again until smooth.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 5

    Dress the Salad

Pour the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad greens and vegetables in the bowl. Toss gently to combine and ensure everything is evenly coated with the dressing.

  2. 6

    Serve

Divide the salad into individual servings and serve immediately for the freshest taste.
