Method

Sliders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a large bowl, season the Wagyu beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into four equal portions and gently form into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 3 minutes per side or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

  3. 3

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, split the slider buns and toast them in a separate skillet or under a broiler until golden brown.

House Made Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Caramelized Onions

  1. 5

    Caramelize the Onions

Slice the yellow onions thinly. In a skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown and caramelized.

Suggested Side

  1. 6

    Prepare the Greens

In a large bowl, toss the mixed greens with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper to taste.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Assemble the Sliders

On each toasted slider bun, spread a generous amount of the house made sauce. Place the Wagyu beef patty with melted cheddar on top, followed by a spoonful of caramelized onions. Top with the other half of the bun and serve with the dressed greens on the side.
