Side Options

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the Wagyu beef, salt, and black pepper. Use your hands to gently mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the beef.

  2. 2

    Shape the Patty

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty, about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cook the Burger

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Assemble the Cheeseburger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Bun

Toast the burger bun on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, place the lettuce leaf and the slice of tomato. Add the cooked burger patty with melted cheese on top.

  3. 8

    Add Condiments

Spread ketchup and mustard on the top half of the bun. Place it on top of the burger to complete the assembly.

Prepare the Side

  1. 9

    Choose a Side

Select your desired side: French fries, apple slices, or carrot sticks. Serve them alongside the cheeseburger.
