Classic Hummus

    Prepare Chickpeas

    Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas thoroughly under cold water.

    Blend Ingredients

    In a food processor, combine the drained chickpeas, tahini, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and water.

    Process

    Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the hummus is too thick, add more water, one tablespoon at a time.

    Serve

    Transfer the classic hummus to a bowl and smooth the top. Drizzle with olive oil and set aside.

Red Pepper Hummus

    Prepare Chickpeas

    Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas thoroughly under cold water.

    Blend Ingredients

    In a food processor, combine the drained chickpeas, tahini, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, roasted red bell peppers, and water.

    Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy. Adjust the consistency with additional water if needed.

    Serve

    Transfer the red pepper hummus to a bowl, smoothing the top, and drizzle with olive oil.

Serving

    Prepare Vegetables

    Slice the cucumber into sticks or rounds, as preferred.

    Present Hummus

    Serve the classic and red pepper hummus side by side on a platter, topped with crumbled feta cheese.
