Salmon

Method

Preparation of Salmon

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a medium bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon fillets and coat them evenly. Let them marinate for at least 20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (200°C).

Grilling the Salmon

  1. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the marinated salmon fillets on the grill. Cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Preparation of Mango Salsa

  1. 4

    Mix the Salsa Ingredients

In a bowl, combine diced mango, red onion, red bell pepper, chopped cilantro, lime juice, jalapeño (if using), and salt. Mix well and let it sit for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Dish

Once the salmon is grilled, remove it from the grill and place it on a serving plate. Top with the mango salsa and serve immediately.
