Salmon Entrée

Method

Flat Iron Steak Entrée

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the flat iron steak out of the refrigerator and let it rest for about 30 minutes to reach room temperature.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the steak with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh rosemary on both sides.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.

  4. 4

    Add Butter

In the last minute of cooking, add butter to the pan and baste the steak with the melted butter.

  5. 5

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Salmon Entrée

  1. 6

    Prepare the Salmon

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 7

    Season the Salmon

In a small bowl, mix lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture over the salmon fillets.

  3. 8

    Bake the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.

  4. 9

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
