In a large bowl, gently mix together the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, eggs, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- 2
Form Patties
Shape the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches wide and 1 inch thick.
- 3
Chill Patties
Place the formed patties on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up.
Cooking the Crab Cakes
- 4
Heat Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until shimmering.
- 5
Cook Patties
Add the crab cakes in batches, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Drain
Transfer the cooked crab cakes to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Remoulade Preparation
- 7
Mix Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, capers, lemon juice, hot sauce, and parsley until smooth and well combined.
