Salad Preparation

Prepare the Romaine
Wash the Romaine hearts under cold water to remove any dirt. Trim the ends and chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.

Grate the Parmesan
Using a grater, shred the Parmesan cheese into fine pieces and set aside.

Add the Croutons
Measure out 1 cup of croutons and set aside for later use.
Dressing Preparation

Prepare the Garlic and Anchovies
Mince the garlic cloves and finely chop the anchovy fillets.

Mix the Dressing Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped anchovies, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Whisk together until smooth.

Add Olive Oil
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is well combined and emulsified.

Season the Dressing
Add salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning as necessary.

In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped Romaine hearts, grated Parmesan cheese, and croutons.
