Bruschetta Ingredients

Method

Bruschetta Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette or Italian bread into 1/2-inch thick slices.

  2. 2

    Toast the Bread

Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Tomato Mixture

While the bread is toasting, dice the fresh tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl. Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl.

  4. 4

    Season the Tomato Mixture

Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the tomato and basil mixture. Drizzle with olive oil, balsamic glaze, and season with salt and black pepper. Toss everything gently to combine.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Bruschetta

Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven. Spoon the tomato mixture generously over each slice of toasted bread.

  6. 6

    Serve

Drizzle additional balsamic glaze on top if desired. Serve immediately while the bread is still warm.
