Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

Melt the Butter
In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

Bake the Brownies
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Cool the Brownies
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Salted Chocolate Ganache

Heat the Cream
In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Do not let it boil.

Melt the Chocolate
Remove the saucepan from heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.

Add Salt
Stir in the sea salt until fully dissolved. Allow the ganache to cool slightly before using.
Assembly

Serve the Brownie Sundae
Place a warm brownie square in a bowl, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, and drizzle generously with the salted chocolate ganache.

Finish with chocolate shavings or sprinkles on top, if desired.
