Sliders

Caramelized Onions

House Sauce

Method

Preparing the Caramelized Onions

  1. 1

    Slice the Onions

Peel and thinly slice the yellow onions.

  2. 2

    Cook the Onions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring frequently, for about 20-25 minutes until they are deeply caramelized and golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.

Making the House Sauce

  1. 3

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasonings to taste.

Cooking the Sliders

  1. 4

    Form the Patties

Divide the Wagyu beef into 8 equal portions and form them into slider-sized patties.

  2. 5

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the patties with salt and black pepper. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of Vermont cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

Assembling the Sliders

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the slider buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Build the Sliders

Spread a generous amount of house sauce on the bottom half of each toasted slider bun. Place a cooked Wagyu beef patty with melted cheese on top, followed by a spoonful of caramelized onions. Top with the other half of the slider bun. Serve immediately.
