Key Lime Pie Ingredients
Method
Key Lime Pie Directions
- 1
Make the Graham Cracker Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a pie pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Set aside to cool.
- 2
Prepare the Key Lime Custard
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Gradually mix in the key lime juice until well combined. Pour the custard into the cooled graham cracker crust.
- 3
Bake the Pie
Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours until set.
- 4
Make the Whipped Cream
In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form.
- 5
Assemble the Pie
Once the pie is set, top with dollops of whipped cream, fresh blueberries, and drizzle with blueberry sauce before serving.
