Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Ziti

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the ziti pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Broccoli Preparation

  1. 2

    Steam the Broccoli

In a steamer basket over boiling water, steam the broccoli florets for about 4-5 minutes until they are bright green and tender, but still crisp. Remove from heat and set aside.

Alfredo Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Alfredo Sauce

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Slowly stir in the heavy cream, and bring to a gentle simmer.

  2. 4

    Add Cheese and Season

Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Allow the sauce to simmer for another 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Combine Ingredients

  1. 5

    Combine Pasta, Chicken, and Broccoli

In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained ziti pasta, pulled chicken, steamed broccoli, and alfredo sauce. Toss everything together until evenly coated.

Serve

  1. 6

    Plate and Garnish

Serve the ziti mixture in bowls or on plates, and top each serving generously with shredded Parmesan cheese.
